Wow, by the name you'd never know the what lies behind the door. A cute small bar and resturant the food is well prepared and the service is amazing order anything and you will want to return again and again |

I have heard from many people over the past several years that Coombs Tavern has the best prime rib in the area. I finally tried it for myself while Christmas shopping in the York area. I agree 100% that it is the most tender flavorful prime rib I have ever had. I was so impressed, that when friends asked me where we can get a bite to eat before the George Carlin show on Saturday night, I immediately said - Coombs Tavern for prime rib. Can't wait! |

Why spend a forune on a GREAT steak!
I first visited Coombs on a recommendation from my dad. Since then, I've taken many people there. Now they're doing the same!
Small, comfortable restaurant with exceptional service.
Going on a weekend? Get a reservation! It's packed for a reason....An EXCELLENT meal!!! |

Must eat restaurant. Dollar drafts all day, every day. The best prime rib around. Great prices and incredible food. |

I've never had prime rib as delicious and well prepared as Coombs offers. the service was wonderful, and the environment was quite friendly. I was even told "goodbye" from our waiter. There's a reason why you have to make a reservation on Fri/Sat evenings: everybody wants to dine there. We are reccomending Coombs Tavern to all of our friends. Thank you for a terrific dinner! |
