The Bloomfield Bridge Tavern, or more affectionately known as the "BBT", rests at the cusp of Pittsburgh's "Little Italy." But, you won't find your favorite pasta dish at this family owned restaurant. Pierogies and Polish sausage are their specialties and they do a good job. The atmosphere is "homey" and in the summer, when they open up the windows, it is quite pleasant to sit and watch the cars zip by on their way down Liberty Ave. Beer is a little pricey, but they have a good selection. Additionally, the bar is known for having good local bands in the evenings and open mike nights which are quite fun. |
