We love Trinity Beverage Company. The service is the best in Los Alamos. The managers go out of their way to be helpful. We have already tried their new dinner menu. It is so nice to have the variety they offer. I really love the duck. I am so glad they brought back the blue cheese filet. I do have to wait to be seated sometimes, but that goes with it being our favorite place in town. |

...Comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb.
We were so excited this past fall upon hearing of a new restaurant opening in town. We endured the long waits for a table the first few months, because, while service still needed some work, the food was that good, and the prices very reasonable. We entertained many family and friends over the first few months, and then this spring, the Los Alamos Factor set in.
Both lunch and dinner menus changed and prices went up. While the changes on the lunch menu were great at first, they quickly declined. It also started taking longer to get my food at lunch.
The changes to the dinner menu seemed to be just a way to charge more. Again, quality of the food went downhill. I tried a "Baseball" steak...the meat was sour, my wife has had the chicken marsala there 3 times,(chicken marsala being one of her favorite dishes) it was prepared differently every time, and none of the times was it good.
It's easy to see why the dining crowd is not what it was a few months ago. I don't think that most families will put up with the noisy bar and loud bands during the dinner hour, only to receive your typical Los Alamos fare. |
