I came from Northern Virginia and was a regular at a family owned pub. I was looking for that same type of atmosphere that served cider on tap. I have found it at Fox and the Hound. This is a great place to come and hang out. Would recommend to anyone. |

I went to "The Fox and the Hound" on Friday the 8th of Feb., 2002. I was meeting some people up there with a friend of mine. He told me they did not know how to mix a drink, and that I had better order a double. I proceeded to order 2 topshelf drinks. I was floored when I heard the bartender say $17.50, But I figured hey I know what I ordered. We agreed the drinks were not worth the money. So I ordered another round and asked the waitress to make sure we were getting doubles. When the new drinks came back in SMALLER glasses and were even WEAKER than before, I asked for the manager(Derrick). When he told me "That's the way it is".... and "sorry it is corporate." I my friend and I finished our $35.00 drinks and left.
My only question Is what kind of management skills does this place teach its employees? |

We had a large group (14 people) with no reservation. We were quickly accommodated and served. The food was excellent, the fish and chips, and the beer cheese soup was great, but they also serve American food and the hamburgers and pizza were good. They had a great selection of beer and ale, and the menu included recommendations for these with certain dishes. |

A large restaurant and pub, with big screen TVs in every room. Volume is not too loud for conversation. Casual or business dress. Exceptionally clean and very friendly atmosphere. Fairly low cost, with large portions nicely presented. Service was fast and excellent. One room where cigar smoking is allowed. Small details were attended to; even a mouthwash dispenser and paper cups in the restrooms. Also had several billiard tables. |
