Don't walk. Run - away from this establishment and never return.
You will not find more consistently bad service in the entire city of Indianapolis. "Hostile" and "rude" are the mildest adjectives to describe the waiters at the Brew Pub. |

After years of attendance, our beer drinking club has come to the breaking point with the service at the Broadripple Brew Pub. Each of the 40 members have endured bad experiences during a visit and as a group we have had at least two really stand out incidents. If you can risk the service, make sure and go for the great beer and varied menu. If the management changes, we'll be back. |

The Broad Ripple Brewpub, a fixture in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of North Indianapolis, features a widely varied menu. Of course, the most important facet of a brewpub is the locally produced "liquid bread," and the BRBP does not disappoint - my favorite is the "Lawnmower Pale Ale," but there is a nice selection of darks, wheats, and other ales. The food is remarkable for both its quality and its variety. Pub standbys include Scottish eggs, a rather manly dish consisting of hardboled eggs wrapped in sausage and then deepfried. Interesting daily favorites spice an already interesting menu. My favorite entree is the crawfish pie, with just enough cajun spice to make it authentic, but not enough to cauterize the palate, as often happens. Good burgers, salads, and interesting vegetarian dishes round out the menu. Knowledgeable servers and patio seating in good weather. |
