Mr P's was founded by it's owner who set up business on leaving high school. Firstly as a take-out and delivery service then in the late nineties, expanded to a pizza restaurant and sportbar. The emphasis is on family dining and all ages are well catered for in standard Mid-west style. There is a pizza and salad buffet availabe during peak times and an array of other dishes from prime rib to sandwhiches and burgers and great chicken wings!!!
Pizza Maker Marty, has developed a very tasty Chicken Alfredo pizza and come up with a winner on this one. After trying gourmet pizzas all over the world I got hooked on this gem. I'd never consider having and alfredo dish in a restaurant but as a topping on a pizza it deflects the blandness and "gluckiness" of a thick creamy sauce.
Mr P's is a fun bustling place, the staff, while young, are well trained and friendly, ensuring your every need is seen to. You don't have to miss your favorite game with an array of channels on the numerous televisions keeping you up to date on every play.
There is a huge array of beers available both draught and bottled, a good selection of wines and ready mixed cocktails as well as non-alcohol drinks.
Plenty of parking, close to accomodation and the town center. |
