I took my family there for my son's birthday and just about everybody got the ribs and LOVED them. They fell right off the bone and the BBQ sauce is wonderful. Like the bag for the bones at the table. The restaurant was full but the service was great. |

We visited the Smokey Bones near us for my daughter's birthday. We waited approximately 2 hours-which we expected. We were seated there was 10 of us in our party. The waiters were there very soon after we were seated. They seemed to be very helpful. I won't return to the resturant because it was so noisey that we couldn't talk to each other-I know this is a sports bar and this is the atmosphere. The coffee we ordered was lukewarm. We told the waitress and she brought more which was some warmer. My decaf was almost cold. The food was just slightly warm not hot as though it had been prepared ahead of time and slapped on our plates. My husband found a label in his mashed potatoes-"use by Sunday"? We told the waitress and she apologized and asked if we wanted to see the manager? Why would we want the manager to tell us there was a label in the mashed potatoes? We could see that and it was not a crisis. We declined and finished our meal. The quality of food was not what I had expected it to be. This review is not about getting free coupons to revisit the site but to let you know in our area you have a ways to go to compete with other restuarants in the area. I would not recommend Smokey Bones to anyone. |
