I have eaten at Wild Ginger twice now and both times it has been very good. The food and service was very good and we didn't feel rushed. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. I will definately be going back for more. |

i think wild ginger is a great place to go to have a slow romantic dinner. i took my boyfriend there for his birthday, and we had a wonderful time. we both enjoyed some appetizers and our meals were very good. the service could be a bit less confused. no real organization of what table belongs to what waiter. overall and enjoyable experience. |

I has been open for several months now. It seems that they are comfortable with their ways. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the sushi is terrific. The service is good. I do enjoy going there about 2-3 times per week. |

Where to begin...
Well, this restaurant doesn't seem to be running smoothly yet. It just opened a weekend or two ago and is still on their "Grand Opening" kick.
Needless to say, I believe they were not expecting the volume of people that were trying the place out, but I think it will smooth out over the next few months.
We were seated fairly quickly, though just about all of the tables were filled to capacity - people were waiting at the bar for a table.
Service was awful. Our waitress took at least 10 minutes to get over to us and took our order. We were lucky if we ever saw her again after that point. She didn't even bother to ask if we wanted drinks; it wasn't until another waiter had noticed that we hadn't even been brought a glass of water that something was done about it. It was another 15-20 minutes before we even saw our dinner plates.
As far as food is concerned; our waitress brought us each a dish of miso soup, but the portions were serverly lacking. Not to mention the fact that the soup was brought out in saucer-like bowls and were only half filled at best.
The sushi was pretty good. Typical sushi fare. We had three rolls and a few pieces a la carte. Prices were also typical as of any sushi joint.
However, some good things to point out. The manager/possible owner, apologized for the slowness of service and gave us complementary dessert and didn't charge us for the miso soup. |
